Princeton Children's Book Festival

10/8/2022

What a magical day at the Princeton Children’s Book Festival! Thank you so much to the Princeton Library and Jazams Toys and Books for inviting me. It truly is a special event. As a pandemic debut, I haven't had an opportunity to connect with readers in quite this way and I loved every minute of it. Thanks to fellow Middle Grade Authorcade member @victorpineiro for keeping me company! Also, thank you to you, my wonderful readers. At the end of the event, they announced that The Gilded Girl was the third highest seller at the festival! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Also, I have to say a big thank you to my high school English teacher, Mr. O’Hara, for coming out to say hi! This man taught me how to write and was the first teacher to recognize that I loved storytelling. My books may not exist if I hadn’t been in his class.

What a wonderful time!

Upcoming: Independent Bookstore Day is April 30th!

I'll be signing books at Bard's Alley Bookstore in Vienna, VA to celebrate Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, April 30th. Hardcovers of both books and paperbacks of The Gilded Girl are available for purchase. I'll be giving away house dragon stickers and Tarnished Garden flower seeds to anyone who purchases one of my books from Bard's Alley! (While supplies last.)

Hope to see you there!

Thank you so much to everyone who made The Tarnished Garden's launch such a fun week! I hope by my next book I'll be able to do an in person launch, but I love that I get to share this special day with friends and readers all over the world. Sam, our host from One More Page Books, told me that it was the largest virtual audience she'd ever seen at one of the store's events! Thank you for your love and support!
